This book was written by the XO of the boat. I enjoyed the book because it gave me a better account of the surroundings and atmosphere my Dad was working under during the patrols.

There is a crew photo at launching in the book. Natch my Dad is in it–another draw for me since my father passed away shortly after the book’s publication. He did have an opinion about the author, but would never share it with me.
